| History of business
Jarvie Plumbing Ltd was established in 1957 by ML (Lynn) Jarvie.
Lynn operated the business with his wife Vivienne from Balcutha
until 1984 when the family moved to Wanaka.
In 2000, Lynn’s son Brendan Jarvie, took over the business
and now runs it successfully with his wife, Sandra Guy. Lynn has
put his plans to retire on hold and continues to work for Jarvie
Plumbing Ltd.
The Jarvie Plumbing Ltd team collectively have an impressive
range of skills and experience. Brendan Jarvie, Director, is a
Craftsman plumber and gas fitter, Registered Drainlayer, qualified
rubber membrane applicator and approved solar installer.
Our business approach
We do not take where we work for granted. It is a privilege to
live in Wanaka and to undertake work locally, all over Central
Otago and on the West Coast.
It is our approach to work with the environment and to always
seek the most environmentally sustainable solution available.
We are committed to using products which we are satisfied, through
extensive experience, will achieve the desired results. We only
work with suppliers who are committed to quality and service as
much as we are.
Community sponsorship
Wherever possible we endeavour to give something back to our
community. We have sponsored:
- Upper Clutha junior rugby team
- Sports events – golf, bowls
- Physical education programmes at Wanaka Primary School
- Mount Aspiring College Events
More recently Brendan was on the Rippon 2006 music festival organising
committee and oversaw the water reticulation around the site.
Please contact us if you would like
to discuss a sponsorship proposal with us.
